The 2016 Pinot Noir is made from premium, single vineyard grapes grown in the red gum forest area, of the cool climate Eden Valley.
For a lighter-bodied wine it has a lovely purple colour, with lively aromas of strawberries and cherries, with a delicate hint of spice on the bouquet.
The palate has delightful berry flavours with a hint of plum and a crisp, tight, refreshing finish that lingers beautifully.
The grapes were hand harvested, fermented then gently pressed in our traditional basket press before oak barrel maturation.
This Pinot Noir is beautiful to enjoy right now, however, if given careful cellaring, it will continue to evolve over the next 2-3 years as it matures.
This is a wine that is very enjoyable on its own, but it also makes a great accompaniment to lighter-style meat and fish dishes.
