The 2017 Old Vine Chardonnay is made from premium, single vineyard grapes grown in the cool climate of Eden Valley.

Hand harvested, gently pressed then controlled temperature fermented, with a component matured in French oak barrels on lees for 12 months, so as to add complexity, creaminess and richness to the wine.
Whilst this wine is excellent right now, if properly cellared, it will round out beautifully over the next 2-3 years as it matures, to become a classically, elegant, cool climate Chardonnay.
At present, this wine is an ideal accompaniment for lighter-medium style food dishes. However as it ages, it will become a fabulous wine to be enjoyed on its own.
